"My wife, Kathy, and I fished there with you on September 7th and 8th.  We were very impressed with your setup---the hospitality of the staff, the room, the restaurant, the fly shop, and especially the fishing.

Our fishing guide is a real professional and did a fine job.

Hopeing to be back there at some point in the not to distant future.  Thanks again!

"I just wanted to extend our thanks to Barb, Kevin and the rest of the very hospitable staff at the Resort for a lovely overnight.  After we left on Sunday with our personally-marked map in hand we were able to see all the sighs of Flaming Gorge, dodge a horrendous hailstorm and see a small fawn near the Red Canyon outlook...You felt like family in a very short amount of time and we will be back!"

"The Green River was a sweet and inviting as ever, with the weather cooperating like we ordered it personally...The Green River yeilded mostly Browns, that we big, fat, oh sooo colorful, and, yes, very plentiful ranging from 12 inches up to 18, 19, and 21 inches."

"The Condo accommodations were as clean, warm, and comfortable as ever.  Poker games, casting videos, and "the game" provie the evening's entertainment."

"The Flaming Gorge Resort offers a package deal called "Best of Day" which we all took advantage of.  "A deal you can't refuse!".  It's a discounted promotional package on both a guided day on the river and your room.  The guides are all super professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and will get you into the fish.  And with their chef providing "home cooking", like you never get at home, it's a no brainer why I've already booked 8 condos for 2009."

"I would like to express our great pleasure after having stayed at your resort from June 17th to the 19th.  We were warmly welcomed wherever we went in your resort, from floating with one of your guides, front desk, fly shop personnel and to eating in your restaurant.  We were always greeted friendly and with respect. . . Thank you again for a great few days and keep up the great selection of emplyoyees as they are tops.  We will see you again in the future."

"I spend this last weekend at the resort.  I wanted to tell you that I was super impressed with the service I received.  The staff was outstanding, the food was great, the motel was clean and comfortable.  Most of all was the amazing serivce I got from my fishing guide who took me down the Green River.  He was truely professional and I felt very safe and comfortable with him.  He really took extra efforts to make sure my trip was an experience I will never forget.  This was a really important trip for me and my expectations were far exceeded and life changing. Thank you so much for a truely wonderful weekend!!!"

"Fulfilling a promise made to my son-in-law before he went to Iraq three years ago, the two of us headed west last week for a three-day fishing trip on Utah's fabulous Green River."

"We stayed at Flaming Gorge Resort, owned and operated by the Collet family.  I say the "power of nice" becuase that's exactly what these people have going for them.  Without an ounce of pretense, whether your name is Tiger Woods or Bill C., they welcome you, make you feel at home throughout your stay, and see to it that you have what you need, whether you're there to fish, hunt, write a book, chill out, or make a movie.  Though by no means fancy, the resort has million dollar views, and more importantly, winning attitudes."

"In the mold of his father, Carl, who owned the Resort for years, current owner, Craig Collett shows up for work at O'dark thirty each day wearing the same brown unifor shirt, name tag, and smile that he expects from each staff member.  And they guy shows up to work, in whatever dimension is necessary, whether it's seating guests at breakfst, helping out in the kitchen, or filling ice buckets for guests.  Whether it's the folks in housekeeping, reservations, fron desk, or the fishing guides, the staff has clearly gotten the message that nice isn't nice, it necessary."
